How to Get Gimmighoul and Gholdengo
Before Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet came out, Pokémon GO and the game did some marketing together. Professor Willow, who does research for GO trainers, worked with Professor Jacq, who is a researcher in the Paldea area, to look into Gimmighoul.
So, in Pokémon GO, players could find and collect strange coins, but it wasn’t clear what would happen to them. In the new season of Pokémon GO, everything is now clear. This is the first time that something from Generation IX has been added to Pokémon GO.
You can now properly get Gimmighoul and Gholdengo in Pokémon Go. To get them, you’ll need a copy of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet or a lot of luck. You can link the games if you have both of them and follow these steps:
- Go to your Poké Portal in Scarlet and Violet and through the Mystery Gift, select “Connect to Pokémon Go” twice.
- In Pokemon Go, open the Postcard Book and select “Send to Nintendo Switch.”
- Once your Nintendo Switch receives the postcard as a Mystery Gift, use the Coin Bag from your Pokémon Go inventory.
- Once active, you catch as many Gimmighoul as you want for 30 minutes
- If you collect enough coins, you can eventually evolve into Gholdengo.
You can also get Gimmighoul at any golden PokéStop that has been turned golden by the Golden Lure Module. But the chances aren’t good.
XXL AND XXS Pokémon
You can find a lot of XXL and XXS Pokémon. When you meet them, they have a new animation. But not every Pokémon could be extra-extra-large or extra-extra-small. They can now.
Niantic has said that from now on, all animals in the game will be able to spawn as big, small, or normal-sized.
Elite Raids Return for The New Pokémon Go Season
Elite Raids came out in October, and trainers could catch Hoopa in its Unbound form for the first time. Trainers were given a new task and a new way to play with this. These people are now back with two new Pokémon: Regieleki and Regidrago!
If you hatch these Elite Raids, they last for 24 hours, but you can only finish them in person. Trainers don’t always have enough battlers to beat them because they need a lot of friends and nearby players to do this.

- Whimsicott: Fairy Wind (Fast Attack) (Fairy)
- Jellicent: Surf (Charged Attack) (Water)
Community Days
One of the most important events for Pokémon Go every month is community days. Each season lasts about 90 days, so during Rising Heroes, players should be able to use three Common days.
However, Niantic has already said that there will be an extra day for the community. The future calendar is set, but they haven’t said which Pokémon will be shown.

- April 15
- April 29
- May 21
These are expected to happen between 2 and 5 pm local time. Recently, that’s been how community days have usually gone.
