The first balance update following the addition of innate abilities and aspects in 7.36, Dota 2 Update 7.37 was released by Valve.
Several heroes gained new natural skills and even an additional third facet in this update, which might be advantageous or disadvantageous.
Heroes get extra third Facet in Update 7.37
It’s obvious that Icefrog is favoring some heroes over others by offering them a third Facet. Among these noteworthy third aspects are:
Brittleback
Seeing Red is Bristleback’s third aspect. When Warpath is activated, BB receives a 50% bonus to attack damage and an additional stack of extra movement speed. There is a catch, though, which restricts his field of view to a small 90-degree cone in front of him.
Death-Signal
Death Prophet was bestowed with the passive skill of Mourning Ritual.
It absorbs damage over a 5-second period, delaying a portion of incoming damage. Exorcism scales it to postpone 20% to 50% of incoming harm.

Dreadful
Doom uses a clever ploy to gain Impending Doom. Doom’s duration increases by 0.66 seconds every 6.66 minutes. That equates to an extra 2.6 seconds of gameplay every 26 minutes of the game. But Doom will deliver less damage each second, which is a terrible aspect, to be honest.
The Earth Spirit
Earth Spirit prepared to roll, which adds to the enjoyment and portability of his Rolling Boulder. An ally hero will roll farther, quicker, and for a longer bonus stun if rolled over.
Huskar
Huskar gets Incendiary, which makes foes burn for 1% of their maximum health per second when they are hit by Burning spears. It does, however, with a very important disclaimer: the duration has been reduced to just 6 seconds, and the cost is now 4% of max health rather than current health. Put another way, even in low health, Huskar will inflict an equivalent amount of damage on himself.
Lycan
The third aspect of Lycan is called Alpha Wolves, and it’s pretty special. Summon Wolves has two more levels as a result, and level 5 Hamstring attack modification is granted to wolves that apply a root. Additionally, the next four attacks by Lycan-controlled units will deal an additional 50 physical damage.
Wolves acquire Hightail at level 6, an active ability that gives them 100% increased speed for movement, evasion, and attack.
Medusa
Medusa still has two facet choices because her old facet was replaced. Venomous Volley is a new feature that slows foes’ movement by 35%, attack speed by 80%, and casting speed by 50% for 1.5 seconds. It imparts poison to every fifth attack.

Update 7.37 Introduces New Innate Abilities
Regarding innate skills, a few of the more interesting modifications are:
The Persecutor inherent ability, which slows opponents according to how much mana they lack, is acquired by Anti-Mage.
Earthshaker experiences a degradation when Aftershock for Spirit Cairn is lost. Where he dies, the new inherent forms a fissure with a radius of 75. The crack prevents movement, lets light through, and yet lets Earthshaker acquire experience.
Admiral’s Rum transforms into an Aeon Disc for Kunkka. The innate ability kicks in to give extra movement speed and delay 20% of damage inflicted over 10s when his health falls below 65%.
Perhaps the biggest enhancement went to Luna, who received Lunar Blessing. Luna and her allies receive 1 attack damage per level, and Luna alone receives 400 additional night vision + 20 per level. But Luna gets twice as much additional attack damage. Lunar Blessing is worldwide at night.
Phantom Lancer gains Illusory Armaments, which enhance bonus-damage items to deal extra base damage equal to or greater than 65% of the bonus damage that the item normally deals.
Viper gains the Predator inherent ability, which makes his strikes do more physical damage for every percentage of the target enemy hero’s health that is absent.
