The final four teams in the HCS Atlanta Major 2024. The Championship Brackets are under way, and the winner of our new Halo champion will be determined in a matter of matches.
We’re looking at every move made by the 16 teams who made it to the final four on day two.
Optic Scrape Through to Championship Sunday as Fa Ze Suffer Surprise Exit
The main event of the second day of the HCS Atlanta Major 2024 is the matchup between Optic and Faze Clan in the Lower Bracket.
These are two teams that are expected to win the tournament; they shouldn’t have been having this kind of difficulty. When it came down to it, Optic prevailed, forcing the HCS London Major 2024 victors to leave Atlanta early.
OpTic owes Lucid their continued existence in this place. He is among the world’s finest Halo gamers, and on a day where endurance became more important than anything else, he didn’t miss a beat. Faze will have to start over in the interim since this performance was insufficient.

SSG and Shopify Rebellion conquer Upper Bracket
At the HCS Atlanta Major 2024, Spacestation Gaming and Shopify Rebellion were the two teams to advance all the way through the Upper Bracket, both of which recorded outstanding victories.
Spacestation Gaming, the only team to defeat Pure and end the day without dropping a map, emerged victorious from the HCS Arlington Major earlier this year.
In the meantime, Shopify Rebellion prevailed in a match that never felt especially close, sending Optic Gaming to the Lower Bracket.
Stars Lqgend and StelluR were looked to by Spacestation Gaming for their lethal production. For SSG, both went all out, making sure they could cruise to Championship Sunday.
Suppressed was the hero for Shopify Rebellion, even scoring more than 100 kills in the match versus Optic. Can one of these teams win the competition as a whole? Why not, we fail to perceive.
Pure shine as Cinderella run continues
Thus far, Pure has shown to be the HCS Atlanta Major 2024’s huge surprise package. Pure started the Championship Brackets out in spectacular fashion, defeating FaZe Clan 3:0 in a series. They lost against SSG, but they recovered magnificently to defeat Into The Breach and finish in the top four, earning a spot on Championship Sunday.
Even while every player on Pure was impressive, we were particularly drawn to LastShot. At just 19 years old, he led the team in slays and has the potential to be LastShot’s breakout performer.
This is a huge accomplishment for the squad already, regardless of how Pure performs tomorrow. We would adore it if this incredible run carried over until Championship Sunday.

Into The Breach make excellent strides
+Even though Into The Breach was eliminated in Atlanta, we still wanted to acknowledge their progress here. In just over a month, they went from finishing in 13th–16th place at the HCS London Major 2024 to securing a 6th place result here.
Into The Breach can defeat anyone when they’re at their best, as demonstrated by their convincing victories over Quadrant and Complexity in this instance. We are eager to watch them grow even more.
