The Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2025 is just around the corner, and it’s going to be one of the biggest events in the League of Legends calendar.
This year, Vancouver, Canada, will host the event in June and July, where 10 of the world’s best teams will compete for international glory.
Here’s a full look at which teams have secured their place at MSI 2025, broken down by each major region.
LCK (Korea)

- MSI Main Stage: LCK Champion – TBD
- MSI Play-In: LCK Runner-Up – TBD
Gen.G has already secured top seed status thanks to their dominant regular season. They only need to win one more best-of-three to qualify for MSI. If they succeed, they’ll skip the Play-In and head straight to the group stage.
Meanwhile, T1, Hanwha Life, KT Rolster, and NS RedForce are still fighting in the playoffs. The two teams that reach the LCK Finals will qualify for MSI 2025.
LPL (China)

- MSI Main Stage: LPL Split 2 Champion – TBD
- MSI Play-In: LPL Split 2 Runner-Up – TBD
The LPL playoffs began on May 31. Top contenders like Top Esports, Anyone’s Legend, JD Gaming, and Bilibili Gaming have already advanced to the main bracket.
Only the top two finishers in the LPL finals will make it to MSI. They’ll also represent China at EWC 2025 in Riyadh.
LEC (Europe, Middle East & Africa)

- MSI Main Stage: Movistar KOI (LEC Spring Champion)
- MSI Play-In: G2 Esports (Runner-Up)
G2 Esports was the first team to qualify after beating KOI in the upper bracket final on May 27. But KOI got their revenge in the LEC Grand Final on June 9, defeating G2 and lifting the Spring 2025 trophy.
Both KOI and G2 now head to MSI — one to the group stage and one to the Play-In. They’ll also appear at EWC 2025.
LTA (Americas)

- MSI Main Stage: LTA North Champion – TBD
- MSI Play-In: LTA South Champion – TBD
LTA North includes big names like FlyQuest, Cloud9, Team Liquid, and Shopify Rebellion. The winner of this region goes directly to the MSI group stage.
LTA South, with teams like paiN Gaming, FURIA, and Vivo Keyd Stars, will send one team to the Play-In. Finals for both leagues are set for June 16.
LCP (Asia-Pacific)

- MSI Main Stage: CTBC Flying Oyster (LCP Champion)
- MSI Play-In: GAM Esports (Runner-Up)
CTBC Flying Oyster pulled off a strong performance in the upper bracket and beat TALON to secure their MSI spot. They followed it up by defeating GAM Esports in a thrilling five-game grand final to earn seed 1.
Both teams are now heading to MSI 2025, with CTBC directly entering the main event and GAM Esports starting from the Play-In.
