Although Fortnite is perceived as mostly a gun game, there is really a far longer list of all melee weapons than you may anticipate. To aid in completing tasks, it can be useful to understand what a Fortnite melee weapon is.
There are plenty of alternatives in the game to hit enemies rather than shoot them. They frequently don’t actually deal as much harm as pulling out a shotgun.

We’ve had lightsabers in and out as usual. Although they are well-liked, those of us who genuinely appreciate Fortnite’s gunplay are starting to grow weary of the constantly interfering sword bouts. Luckily, they did not experience anything from the most recent Fortnite incident.
There will have been a greater selection of melee weapons this season than in previous Fortnite seasons, though.
Every weapon in Fortnite Melee
Although there are currently only a few options available, there have been many other types of melee weapons in the past. Among these are those that have revolutionized the industry.

The $1 Tournament Was Ruined by a Fortnite Sword
We can see that there have been a lot more Fortnite melee weapons recently out of that large list. This one from Chapter 1 could be the reason Epic stayed away from them for so long. The Blade of Infinity.
This object had a striking resemblance to a sword. It even needed to be pulled out of the stone. It was unique, and the player using it had no other weapons.
However, it did do more than 100 damage every second, with each rapid swing dealing 75 damage. It also bestowed a great deal of additional powers, beyond what you would typically anticipate from a sword.
Players received a super leap as well as healing from it. The sword had a siphon 50 upon elimination and could produce one shield or health per second. Players were able to chain kill after kill while gaining experience points along the way.
However, the gamer received more than just those bonuses. You also possessed a shield and 200 HP total—400 total. In the lobby, double who else is there. a major speed buff for movements. As if all of that wasn’t enough, the sword destroyed structures at an insane pace.
With Patch 7.01, the Infinity Blade was added to the game. That was on December 11th, 2018, and three days later, on December 14th, it was vaulted. Why so soon? In between, Epic hosted the Winter Royale, a massive competition with a million-dollar prize.
With incredible kills, one player completely destroyed a lobby with the Infinity Blade, winning the entire tournament.
In retrospect, the builds in Chapter 5 seem fairly charming by modern standards for sweats! However, it’s evident that this item simply didn’t function, particularly not in a competitive setting.
